Régis 0.3.04
Appearance for everything, your branding by default, and screens that hand over to each other
Version 0.3.04 is out! On the menu: dress up any element in two clicks, get your branding on every new element, and screens that organise themselves during your stream.
✨ Appearance, for EVERY element
Text, shape, image, video, YouTube, QR code, chat, drawing: everything can now have rounded corners, a border (solid, dashed, dotted, double), a shadow or a neon glow. Under “More options”: blur, brightness, contrast, saturation, black and white, sepia, hue, blend modes and a frosted glass effect.
Double-click an element (Appearance tab) or use the Settings dock.
🎨 Appearance styles
Save your look and reapply it in one click to any element. Five come built in (Rounded card, Neon, Orange frame, Retro, Black and white), and you can publish your own to the website library.
🖌️ Your branding by default
In Preferences › Editing › Default styles, pick your text style, gradient, outline, QR style and appearance once: every new element arrives in your colours right away.
📺 Screens that hand over to each other
• The screen you turn on automatically goes on top of the others (or pin it “Always in front” / “Always behind”).
• New “Exclusive” folder: only one screen on at a time. Turning on “Pause” turns “Starting” off on its own, from the eye icon, the Stream Deck or a trigger.
• The screen list has been redesigned: clearer, with what's on air easy to spot.
🐞 Report a bug
New in the Help menu: describe the problem in a few words and it comes straight to me. You can attach the end of the log (your name and your PC's name are hidden) and see exactly what is sent.
⚡ Faster, sturdier
• Régis starts up to 30% faster.
• The overlay has been rebuilt: every change reaches OBS in under a millisecond.
• No more “cannot switch to a different thread” crashes.
• Lighter install: 223 MB instead of 287.
• Upcoming updates install without the wizard: one click, one “Yes” to Windows, and Régis comes back on its own.
All the changes are in the release notes. Have a great stream!
